Well, it looks like the results of the civil portion of my accident are finaly in... I'm screwed.
The medical portion is still pending.
Perhaps they will kiss me first.

So the wedding is just around the corner, how are you doing with that whole thing? Ready to be a grandpa too?

The wedding is about 9 days away... well, ask Rae and she will probably tell you how many minutes are left. As usual I am proud, scared, nervous, eager, paranoid etc. Grandpa? Well you know very well how old and used up I am. (LMAO) I have every intent of being the coolest grandpa around. Ready for it. No. But then again who is? The wedding is in the Tricities on the 14th. Just parents, grandparents and siblings. then there will be a small reception and then again on sunday we will be having another reception at my house. I wanted The Raeys to see and know they have the love and support of my family and we are very happy for them. (even if it makes me feel a little older...)
At your house in Spk or your parent's house here? Sounds like you are doing ok with the whole thing, not that it would hold them back even if you weren't.

I will absolutely give her your regards and probably become overly obnoxious with all the hugs flying around... I mean, this is my baby! All growed up and starting a family. I do not think words are capable of expressing exactly how I feel for her. I try but I just fail miserably.
And yes it will be in my very own backyard not at my parents house. I got a couple of canopys for shade... See, they are going to honeymoon right around the corner in Idaho so on their way back down they will stop at my place for a second party, presents, food and cake. I think perhaps they thought they couldn't afford a bigger reception so we will just have a second and invite more people.
