Is that my copy of geek love or did you go out and buy it? Great book by the way
Saw a used copy at Hastings and remembered you and Mitch raving about it so I picked it up. Ive just barely started it.
Hmmm, mine must be in one of those boxes still. It is a good book, kinda wierd but good. Not as wierd as some of these posts of yours though. By the way, how was blue man group? Didn't end up going, but I am blowing all my concert budget this year on Sasquatch. Should be two days of total mayhem with myself and the LJ.
Funny, I didnt go to the bmg either. I found out that the three men who would be performing here as the bmg were not the real 3 blue men, just people trained to perform the act. So, I decided for that kind of money I should be able to see the real guys and didnt go. Kinda felt like paying $100 to see a cover band.
I dont find my posts to be that weird. they make perfect sense. At least they do to me.
I thought yours was actualy Mitchs and you gave it back which is why I didnt read it at the time or at least that is my recollection.
The Squatch should be amazing. I have not decided if I am going. I highly recommend seeing the black angels. Their live performance on kexp was brilliant. They also gave us, in my opinion the best rock album of last year. It is very cool native american drone & roll. Very retro and supercool. Not sure if its your thing but probably the best thing there this yearin my opinion. Well then except maybe, Citizen Cope, arcade fire, Neko Case,interpol, spoon, bad brains, ozomatli, or Helio Sequence.
Anyway, should be very cool hope you enjoy.
I don't expect you to be posting things strickly for my entertainment, reading enjoyment, therapy, or what ever else. It was merely a comment not meant to be taked quite so seriously.
Sorry to hear about blue man, better to not go then go and be dissapointed I guess.
I am super excited for sasquatch, beasties, spoon, ozomatli, citizen cope, and I think the bird and the bee will be there as well. Should be wicked fun.
Don't know that I would run in to you if you go, but I guess you can always keep your eyes peeled for the two crazy redheads livin it up.
